Thurgood Marshall College Fund Set to Host 2021 Leadership Institute

WASHINGTON (OCT. 15, 2021) – The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is set to host its signature professional development program, the Leadership Institute presented by Wells Fargo, Oct. 18-21.

Now in its 21st year, the Institute, themed Level Up, is part of a larger mission to advance pathways toward economic mobility for HBCU students and intentionally diversify the future work force within corporate America. The conference hosts over 400 HBCU students annually and provides organizations access to a talented and diverse student population while helping participants make connections to Fortune 500 companies and top-tier organizations.

“We are anticipating another tremendous week of multifaceted professional development and educational programming,” said Dr. Harry L. Williams, TMCF’s President & CEO. “The Institute is always a resounding success and we look forward to our students and partners across the country joining in as we host our event.”

TMCF will be utilizing the 6Connex virtual event platform to host the Institute. In addition to educational sessions, the agenda will feature a virtual Recruitment Fair, social and networking time at the end of each day, and a daily workout session courtesy of the Melanated Soul Crew.

The schedule for the Institute is available HERE.
