Overview

The 33 rd Anniversary Awards Gala, scheduled for Saturday, October 17, 2020, will be canceled. Even though we are not having the Gala, we are planning a fall fundraising virtual event centered on the mission of TMCF.

As you know, the event has become one of the largest annual, non-partisan events in Washington, DC, and is a major fundraiser for TMCF. Now more than ever, the work of TMCF is critically important. We will need your support for this new event, which will include opportunities for partners to share why they have made a commitment to invest in TMCF, as we continue to remain true to our vision of “Changing the World, One Leader at a Time.”

We are disappointed to have to make this decision, but the safety of our students, supporters, employees, and guests must come first. We look forward to your continued support and thank you in advance for helping TMCF succeed during these particularly uncertain and challenging times.

If you have questions and/or would like to participate in the new fundraising event, please email Tamaria Perry at [email protected].

Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund’s Anniversary Awards Gala, the organization’s largest fundraiser, is a time for celebration and for recognizing individuals who have a positive impact on his or her industry, as well as believes in education and the lives of students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). This event has become one of the largest nonpolitical events in Washington, DC. Proceeds from the event not only drive the success of TMCF but changes the lives and fuels the dreams of so many deserving HBCU and PBI students through scholarships and programs.
