Overview

The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and Cheniere are proud to offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending Texas Southern University, Howard University, Southern University, Prairie View A&M University.

Nine (9) scholars will be selected to receive a spring scholarship up to $6,000 for the 2021-2022 academic year (which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees).

Eligibility requirements:

• Be enrolled full-time as an undergraduate junior during the 2021-2022 academic year
• Be enrolled at one of the following HBCUs:
  • Howard University
  • Prairie View A&M University
  • Southern University
  • Texas Southern University
• Current cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or higher
• Able to demonstrate leadership abilities
• Able to demonstrate to financial aid need
• Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551

All Applicants Must:

• Answer the following – maximum of one minute per question (Video format):
  • Which three short or long-term goals are important for you to achieve, and how do you plan to achieve them? These could be academic, financial, personal, professional, etc.
